Venetian Plaster is breathable and dehumidifying as it has the ability to absorb any water present in the walls, while also having antibacterial and fungicidal properties due to the alkalinity of lime which prevents the survival of mold and mildew. Adding plaster to a wall essentially adds layers of protection and insulation, creating a durable “lifetime” finish with low maintenance.
